TLDR

During Q3 Dwellir served more than 840 million RPC requests for the Polkadot communities including AssetHub and Westend. These services were seamlessly provided using our decentralized bare-metal infrastructure located in both Sweden and Tunisia, with all operational data transparently available at https://stats.dwellir.app/. Our commitment remains firm: offering top-tier, decentralized RPC services at an equitable price.

Report from Q3 2023

  • Our Polkadot RPC nodes served on average 6,779,800 requests per day and in total 616,961,786 during the last quarter.

  • Our AssetHub RPC nodes served on average 65,724,792 requests per day and in total 65,724,792 during the last quarter.

  • Our Westend RPC nodes served on average 1,822,208 requests per day and in total 165,820,972 during the last quarter.

Hi Gustav,

Thank you for submitting this proposal.

Given our understanding of the RPC provider landscape and bilateral discussions with different providers, we believe the best interim approach would be to pursue a collective-based proposal where RPCs providing public endpoints on the Relay Chain and System Parachains, can seek funding.

Longer-term, there should be sufficient utilization of the Relay Chain and System Parachains where RPC providers are able to operate in a sustainable fashion.

Therefore, Ivy votes nay on this proposal with the hope - and understanding - that Dwellir is working with other RPC providers on a collective-based proposal.

Best, Ivy

@Ivy

Thank you for explaining your intention behind your vote, that is appreciated.

We are in conversations with the other RPC providers to create a collective proposal for future funding of these services. We hope that we can work with you on the collective-based proposal.
