This is a follow-up proposal on what we submitted in the beginning of [July](https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/motion/230), to further fund the development of the RPC services and to cover the maintenance costs of it.

This new proposal includes one Milestone.

**Milestone 1:** Continue to run the Polkadot, Statemint and Westend RPC services on dedicated hardware, located at small independent co-location sites in Sweden.

During Q3 2022 our Polkadot RPC node served on average **2,690,000** requests per day, and in total we served **250,200,000** requests.

During Q3 2022 our Statemint RPC node served on average **74,300** requests per day, and in total we served **6,687,000** requests.

During Q2 2022 our Westend RPC node served on average **43,700** requests per day, and in total we served **5,370,000** requests.

Since our last proposal we have launched a Polkadot boot node. The node has been tested, [added to the Polkadot binary](https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot/pull/5772/commits/0dbbe81851faa6b7f6bf8948bcea93f8a418dcc0) and is being used by the community.

The proposal, spearheaded by the Polkadot Gaming Group, seeks funding from the treasury to verify and maintain a Polkadot Unity SDK on the Unity Asset Store. This SDK aims to bridge the gap in Web3 gaming by enabling Unity developers to seamlessly integrate with the Polkadot ecosystem. By becoming a verified partner, Polkadot aims to tap into Unity's extensive developer community, boosting brand recognition and fostering widespread adoption.
