Retroactive Tip for Portuguese Content Creation
Just one month ago, I presented a proposal to OpenGov that unfortunately did not receive approval. However, setbacks are not synonymous with defeat, and my dedication to this project remains unwavering.
After careful consideration and valuable feedback from within our community and other stakeholders, I have refined my approach. I am pleased to present a revised proposal, now with a sole focus on retroactive content.
This strategic shift allows our community to engage more deeply with the milestones we've achieved and the content we've already produced. Despite the initial setback, progress has not halted. In fact, we have already delivered one-third of the content outlined in the original proposal.
This demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement and our ability to adapt to feedback. Our content pipeline has remained active, ensuring that our audience receives valuable insights and information consistently from the Polkadot ecosystem.
Furthermore, this proposal also aims to promote Polkadot on social media, specifically on Twitter, by subscribing to the account Polkadot Brasil on X Premium and sponsoring posts to expand the profile's reach. It's important to highlight that this profile on X is the main account for the Brazilian Polkadot community on this social media platform. It is linked to the main Telegram group that welcomes all Brazilians entering the ecosystem. All references and respected voices, such as senior ambassadors, former heads, content creators, and OGs from the Brazilian community, are present and can be found here.
Taking into account the latest projects approved for Brazil (1, 2) and the upcoming events in the ecosystem over the next months, such as agile coretime, airdrops, memecoins, GameFi, RWA, etc., this proposal will bring benefits to the Polkadot business in Brazil by maintaining this channel active and more reliable.
I've been managing the Polkadot Brasil profile since early Q3’23, consistently fostering an engaged community. I'm proud to say that my efforts were recognized within the first three months when I received a small tip by Kusama governance. Over the past five months, despite limited resources, I've remained dedicated to enriching the profile with original content and facilitating discussions for Portuguese speakers about Polkadot.
Who am I?
Hello, I am Uai so serious?, an ambassador for Nodle Network deeply involved in the Polkadot Brasil ecosystem for three years. I have actively participated in Polkadot Sub0 events in both 2022 and 2023. Additionally, I am the founder of blockaffee, a web3 podcast that delivers weekly episodes featuring interviews with ecosystem builders. I also serve as the editor and host of Modular News, a daily crypto news podcast in Portuguese.
In the last five months, we have:
- Hosted 5 Spaces (average audience of 283 listeners/spaces)
- Partnered with SubWallet for translating the crowdloans unlocking campaign (batch 1 and batch 2)
- Actively participated in other communities in spaces and calls
- Published original threads (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
- Increased our followers by over 300
In the next three months, we plan to:
- Host a minimum of 3 Spaces (one per month)
- Publish original threads
- Subscribe to X Premium annually
- Sponsor posts to expand profile reach
We invite everyone to visit our profile page on X and see for yourselves how we have been producing content with dedication and commitment, even without adequate resources. Now, we believe it's time to invest in this potential and enhance our engagement with tools and professionalism so that more Portuguese speakers have access to Polkadot information.

Hello, It seems you have enthusiasm and dedication to make this happen. That is good. On the other hand you need to improve your outreach/numbers on X. Looking at the spaces and posts, you don't have too many active people. You are also not requesting a big amount, plus you lowered it compared to the previous. That is good as well, but the proposal needs some improvements and the metrics need to be linked accordinly to the proofs. It is a bit complicated to review in this form. I recommend creating a PDF-like, hyperlinked version for higher chances of success. Axé!
It is a shame for CHAOSDAO to vote against a proposal like this. They are deciding the proposal with the voting power delegated by WEB3FOUNDATION, without even leaving feedback and much less for the members of this "DAO" to look at who the author of the proposal is, what he produced for the Web3 and polkadot ecosystem in Brazil. UAI is a responsible member, who worked hard to generate media for the Polkadot ecosystem in Brazil. Maybe those who voted don't know how difficult it is to create content, create spaces, mobilize people positively or they are playing DAO, playing with other people's dreams and time. Shame on the vote and interest of this DAO. If it were your "friends" the vote would be different. I vote for you to lose the voting power delegated by the Web3 Foundation. It is unfair for a power delegated by web3foundation to be used in this way to unbalance a vote that should be democratic
