Big Tip for Polkadot Brasil on X

In this proposal, we aim to differentiate by presenting the past, present, and future. In the past, we applied for a grant from Kusama to retroactively support work that began with a profile of 400 followers in August 2023. We have continued this work on the profile, creating original content and hosting spaces with the Lusophone community, despite limited resources. However, working under such uncertainty, as in the OpenGov democracy where DOT holders decide what gets funded, has been challenging.

Overall, we have observed two patterns in content producer funding. Native creators, often ecosystem ambassadors and enthusiasts, predominantly produce content exclusively for Polkadot. These creators seek retroactive funding for the content delivered in recent weeks/months. Additionally, we have seen creators from outside the ecosystem submitting proposals to the treasury for content that will be created in the future.

This proposal aims to request both. Retroactive funding for four months of work already completed and assurance for three more months of work ahead. But that's not all! This proposal also aims to implement a plan of goals and objectives for future treasury grant requests. In other words, we value transparency in the results to be achieved with our work and aim to show where we intend to contribute to spreading the word about Polkadot in Portuguese.

The Polkadot Brasil profile on X is managed by Uai so serious?. He has been an ambassador for Nodle Network and involved with the Polkadot Brasil ecosystem for three years. He has attended Polkadot Sub0 events in 2022 and 2023. Additionally, he is the founder of blockaffee, a web3 podcast that delivers weekly episodes featuring interviews with ecosystem builders, and is also responsible for Modular News, a daily crypto news podcast, both in Portuguese. Since Q3 '23, he has managed the Polkadot Brasil profile on X and has previously been awarded a Small Tip from Kusama in October '23.

In the last four months, we have:

• Hosted 4 Spaces (average audience of 264 listeners/spaces)
• Partnered with SubWallet for translating the crowdloans unlocking campaign (batch 1 and batch 2)
• Actively participated in other communities in spaces and calls
• Published original threads
• Increased our followers by over 200

In the next three months, we plan to:

• Host a minimum of 3 Spaces (one per month)
• Publish original threads
• Subscribe to X Premium annually
• Sponsor posts to expand profile reach

This proposal requests a total of 620 DOT from the Polkadot treasury, allocated as follows:

• 420 DOT for Uai (60 DOT per month; four for retroactive three for ahead)
• 200 DOT for X engagement (Premium and post advertising)
