JAMTON is a cross-chain layer (parallelized layer 2) designed to connect the TON (The Open Network) ecosystem, with its 950 million Telegram users, to the Polkadot ecosystem. As a Polkadot parachain, JAMTON will facilitate seamless cross-chain communication, liquidity flow, and user interaction between the two ecosystems, enabling Polkadot-based projects to tap into the vast Telegram user base and liquidity.

JAMTON will act as a gateway, allowing TON projects and Telegram users to seamlessly engage with Polkadot's powerful infrastructure and decentralized applications.

Find out more details in the full proposal document.

How JAMTON Benefits the Polkadot Ecosystem:

  • User Growth & Engagement. JAMTON offers a direct bridge to Telegram users, providing easy entry into Polkadot through tools like Telegram Wallet and Mini Apps, boosting user engagement and ecosystem participation.
  • Increased Liquidity. By connecting Polkadot and TON ecosystems, JAMTON enables an inflow of liquidity from TON token holders into Polkadot-based projects, driving growth in Polkadot’s DeFi ecosystem and staking protocols.

Key Deliverables of the JAMTON Development

Key deliverables of development covered in this proposal are the following:

  • Infrastructure and framework for building cross-chain applications between TON and Polkadot ecosystems (seamless integration of TON nodes and JAMTON networks).
  • Easy entrance for TON users and liquidity to the Polkadot ecosystem.
  • Orderbook DEX built on the JAMTON network.
  • Enhanced EVM compatibility of the JAMTON network for simple and fast deployment of EVM projects and interaction with all JAMTON protocol components using only EVM wallet (e.g. Metamask).

The development roadmap is designed for two milestones (6 months in total). See detailed roadmap and deliverables in the full proposal document.

The JAMTON project has already completed the first stage of development (while our previous Treasury Proposals have been unsuccessful - https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/1319, https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/1218) and has the following deliverables implemented:

  • Launched JAMTON Mainnet as Polkadot parachain
  • JAMTON dApp publicly launched (early May 2025):
    • Homepage: https://jamton.network
    • dApp: https://app.jamton.network
    • dApp as Telegram Mini App: https://t.me/JamtonAppBot

JAMTON protocol provides TON and DOT staking functionality for yield, built-in AMM DEX, XCM bridge with other Polkadot ecosystem projects, integration with WUD project and bringing WUD token to the TON network.

Funding Request

We are seeking a treasury allocation of 99,200 USDT to fund the development of Stage 2 of the JAMTON project, a game-changing cross-chain solution that connects the Polkadot and TON ecosystems.

This amount will cover:

  • Development and deployment of JAMTON’s protocol (Stage 2).
  • Infrastructure costs during the Stage 2 of the JAMTON development.

We kindly request your support for this strategic initiative, which will position Polkadot as a more interconnected, liquid, and accessible ecosystem through the power of JAMTON.

See the full funding proposal for more details.
