So if we spend money from the treasury, let's at least make sure that we spend it on competent and honest people. At least we will know that we were not robbed. And we will also know that we gave this money to competent people.

Only the efficiency of spending is debatable, but we will never know the efficiency of any spending without trying it. Perhaps this collaboration will not be effective, but at least we will pay the one who really spreads goodness, and we will pay the one who is really top 1. In his videos MrBeast mentions that brands are often unable to pay him a fair amount in return for the number of views he provides. Because it is one of the largest channels in the world, and one of the most popular for a long time.

UPD: I have already encountered the opinion that its audience is not suitable for us, mostly children. But I think we should not worry about it. Since Polkadot is a very safe and reliable technology, with a reputable team, we have a huge chance of not disappearing in 5 or even 10 years. We can play the long game. And if children find out about us, no big deal, then (when they grow up) Polkadot will be the first thing they think of when they think about investing in crypto - and this, I think, is worth a lot!

I recommend recalling the marketing campaign around the coin called DED. Only $1 million was requested for marketing at the very beginning. Lunar Agency took responsibility for marketing. Now I will try to speak in the language of objectivity, not in the language of emotions, although it will be difficult:

• They took $1,000,000 and for that they made one company in Zealy (I forgot what the awards were there, 4,000$-40,000$, CARL)
• A few posts from overrated influencers on Twitter (really few, CARL)
• Telegram channel and Twitter increased by 5,000 - 10,000 new subscribers (CARL)
• And thats it...

I have worked in various NFT projects for a long time, and believe me, I know what I am talking about, for $20,000 as payment for market managers, any project could count on an increase in subscribers in the amount of about 100,000 - 200,000, and although most of them are probably bots mixed with not very interested people, still 10,000 - 20,000 real enthusiasts would appear. And all this is 50 times cheaper than what was requested by this agency. And yes, all these invited people had to mint NFTs by spending their money, and not a small amount. Notice the difference... Much more would have come if there had been a case like with DED, when you didn't have to buy anything, contrary in return they would give value for free.

And this is just 1 example of theft/misspending of money or complete incompetence from the treasury.

It's a chance to show that blockchain technology can be useful by capturing people's attention!
