Ecosystem Test Environment Bounty
This proposal stems from the need to enhance system upgrade testing procedures, minimizing feature regression. Recent discussions in various channels, spurred by challenges in cross-chain messaging (XCM) on Kusama, have highlighted the need for a comprehensive set of tests. We seek to establish a comprehensive testing ground.
This bounty is a response to the growing consensus that we need a dedicated test environment - a place where changes can be tested automatically, minimizing the risk of disruptions before they reach the production system.
The goal of the bounty is to ensure seamless relay chain upgrades through the development of an automated testing environment with a focus on Chopsticks integration.

Hi all, as a personal sharing about this proposal, it makes a great deal of sense. In the recent Polkadot Summit in thailand where the "Boosting the Developer Experience" was held and I hosted, the tech release management appears to be the biggest painpoint on the parachain lifecycle. More was asked to prompt for other painpoints to raise other ideas about developer experience issues but the idea of a stable "non-breaking" release was the primary idea that parachain developer respresentatives had strong opinions (repeatedly) as their primary ask. https://forum.polkadot.network/t/polkadot-summit-24-boosting-the-developer-experience/7202 A dedicated test environment with resources allocated not only to increase the comprehensiveness of tests, but to also include parachain teams' set of testing scenarios (in this case including 10 parachain teams' tests) with automated testing on nightly runs will be a great win into inclusion of the broader Polkadot development community into the process. It can reduce the probability of unintended "breaking" releases while also helping parachains spend less time to constantly check a new release's impact on what can be "breaking" - instead, act as an early warning with these tests. Personally I'm quite looking forward to this!
