Continuation and Salary Request for Editorial Board in Spanish Members
Proposal Summary:
Following the successful implementation of the Editorial Board model for decentralized management of the Polkadot en Español X account, we now seek funding for the next six months to support the salaries of our three key members. This continuation proposal references proposal #641 and details the achievements and structure of our Editorial Board, alongside the funding requirements necessary to maintain and expand our efforts.

Over the past month, the Editorial Board has effectively increased the activity and engagement of the @PolkadotEspanol account, marking a significant growth in visibility and community interaction. To sustain this momentum and further our mission of enhancing Polkadot's presence in the LATAM region, we request funding to cover the salaries of our three dedicated members: MacZam, Janko, and Gabriel.
Achievements:
- Content Production:
- Increased post activity from 6 in January to 63 in June, a 950% increase.
- Developed 22 distinct types of content, including "Word of the Day," "Parachain Quotes," and "Educational Threads."
- Engagement Metrics:
- Achieved 169,000 impressions in June, up from 14,000 in January (1107.14% increase).
- Implemented three engagement metrics: Engagement by X, Engagement by Impressions, and Engagement by Followers.
- Communication Channels:
- Established two main channels: Polkadot en Español x Polkadot Teams and Polkadot en Español x Comunidad, facilitating direct information dissemination and engagement within the community.

Funding Request:
To continue our work and maintain the high level of content production, engagement, and community interaction, we request funding for the salaries of our three Editorial Board members for six months. The total amount will be sent to a Multisig controlled by 4 external agents (Crane, Nachito, Evan Thomas and Yung Beef) and 1 internal agent (JC).
The total amount requested is 46k USDT
EB Members (MacZam, Janko, and Gabriel) salary for 6 months: 45k USDT
External Signatories (Crane, Nachito, Evan Thomas and Yung Beef) tip for 6 months: 1k USDT
This funding will ensure:
- Continued growth and activity on the @PolkadotEspanol account.
- Sustained engagement and visibility of Polkadot initiatives in the LATAM region.
- Effective coordination with global teams to align with Polkadot’s overall market strategy.
