Hello Polkadot Community!

I'm Lorena, many of you know me as blockya, and this candidacy for Head Ambassador can be summarized as follows:

Establishment of a team led by me as Head Ambassador, collaborating with esteemed members of the Polkadot community, to build a comprehensive framework encompassing development verticals. This initiative aims to enhance technical and non technical education and integration of new projects into the ecosystem. Additionally, it serves as a bridge to the decentralized resources available within the ecosystem.

Context

The Polkadot Ambassador Program was an initiative of Web3 Foundation that concluded in January 2024. Now the program was restructured and approved through an on-chain community vote.

The Polkadot community has decided to maintain the ambassador program, with global representatives responsible for advancing the development, promotion, education, and communication of the ecosystem. This transition underscores the community's recognition of the vital role these ambassadors and teams play in the ecosystem's growth and evolution.
It is now the responsibility of the Head Ambassadors to assemble a team with different profiles that work together and collaborate with the global community to implement a strategic plan that further advances the Polkadot ecosystem and its technology.

Problem and challenges to be addressed

Network changes: Polkadot is undergoing a profound transformation, highlighting the crucial need for comprehensive technical and non-technical communication, education and training to foster the expansion of the ecosystem.
Brand Recognition Deficit: The Polkadot brand currently suffers from a notable lack of visibility, hindering its ability to attract attention and maintain the network effect within the industry.
Integration Complexities: The process for projects to join the Polkadot ecosystem is marred by complexities, several projects face challenges in effectively joining the Polkadot ecosystem, resulting in missed opportunities for ecosystem integration and growth.

In order to address the problem, we propose to work on verticals with development objectives defined below:

The industry should continue to enhance tech, reduce user barriers, and find more long-tail use cases.
Implementation

The team will implement these verticals through a quarterly plan, collaborating with selected community members. Tasks will be assigned based on expertise and networks, ensuring efficient execution.
Funding will be requested through on-chain referenda to ensure community approval and access treasury funds.
A detailed agenda outlining the four-month plan for each defined vertical will be presented to the community.
