[Whitelisted Caller] Upgrade Polkadot: v1.2.6
This is a partial upgrade as only the Relay Chain and Asset Hub are affected. This release locks the Identity pallet and will enable migration to the People Chain.
Note to all wallets/UIs: Identity will be unusable until the launch of the People Chain and migration of info there. UIs should also prepare to read Identity information from the People Chain once it launches. Total expected downtime is 2-3 weeks.

Enactment is set for 8 July.
Here's a table that should help UIs know what to do:

Reminder for OpenGov participants: We have proposed to work on this issue to have compatible backend on ksm/dot registrars for the enactment of v1.2.7 runtime to run automated challenge verifications for judgements and assist in process.
I'm in midst of transferrance of IBP-infra to another DC month and transitioning from using ISPs to becoming own ISP with multihoming setup, so will be only able to contribute on development work part-time until 15th of July and for Dan, still a bit doubtful about concept of working for blockchains, its critical to have funding secured upfront for conducting the work.
So please read through referendum 809 and take your vote one way or another for faster enactment.
