Retroactive - Participation of Polkadot in Unlock summit 2024 Mexico, Puebla Talk + Workshop
What is Unlocksummit?
It is an entrepreneurship and technology event for women in web2 and web3. Therefore, in this second edition, it took place in Puebla at the Museo el Barroco, along with a side event organized by Unlocksummit collaborators.
Four ambassadors participated in this event. Two of us gave talks at the side event on May 23, and three ambassadors conducted the workshop at the main event at the Museo el Barroco.
The expenses for Polkadot's participation in the event were covered by the four ambassadors. Therefore, it was an opportunity to expand and represent Polkadot at other technology and web3-related events. Usually, the organized events are in the same cities, and participating in these events gives us the chance to expand and continue growing the Polkadot community in Mexico, while also attracting new people interested in using the tools provided by the ecosystem.

May I congratulate you? I don't know you, but reading the attached document makes me happy. You've clearly outlined everything you've done, with the necessary photos as evidence. Wonderful! And there's a clear overview of all the costs with all the supporting documents (one small point of critique: the currency of Mexican Pesos also uses a dollar sign). Beautifully done – I often see other retroactive reimbursement requests on OpenGov with little or no supporting documentation. Your commitment deserves to be rewarded. Great job!
Aye! Let's go Team Mexico!!
