After taking the feedback of our last referenda, we're excited to share our comprehensive proposal for our 2024 programmes, built upon your valuable feedback and our extensive experience in the Polkadot ecosystem.

Summary

Our proposal leverages over three years of experience in ecosystem development within Polkadot. For 2024, we're introducing a comprehensive year-long programme designed to attract new developers, support the current ones, guide mature projects towards creating significant startups and foster new talent in the ecosystem.

Our successes

We're excited to continue our journey with Polkadot, a path marked by numerous milestones achieved. Since launching our programmes in 2021, we've facilitated over six hackathons, resulting in hundreds of projects, propelled projects to secure VC funding through our accelerators, and welcomed thousands of participants through our educational workshops. Your support has been invaluable to these successes!

Our proposal includes

Allocating funding for prize distribution for the recently finished Polkadot hackathon 2024 - link to our Tranche 5 proposal is here. Implementing our 2024 programmes, which encompass: an Educational Series, an Ink! Bootcamp, an Online Hackathon, an Accelerator Programme, an In-Person Event and Year-Long Access to Talent Support.

 Requested funds

We request funding of $385k split across 3 tranches of $128,333 in DOT (17,898.60 DOT based on Subscan MA of 7.17): Immediately (July 2024), after 3 months (October 2024) and after 6 months (January 2025).
