Beneficiary:The Kusamarian is a DOT-focused media brand.
It serves & maintains Public Forums for Polkadot Builders, Nominators, Governors, Holders & the curious.
We thank holders for their support building The Kus in the bear!
These proposed 74,533 DOT - 69% the costs of production & native promotion @ $8.64/DOT (7dEMA) - aim to sustain Kus coverage of the ecosystem until at least April 30, 2025 leveraging smart treasury management and efforts to deliver Kus Validation into the active set.
3,333 DOT of the full sum covers 100% of Simon Hipkins’ post production for 16 behind-the-scenes extended interviews outside the scope of Behind the Code II (Behind the Code: Web3 Thinkers/Builders) to be broadcast by The Kus in support of the main episodes beginning May 5th, utilizing Kus resources to broadcast, clip & promote.
Current Kus coverage includes:
- 5 News shows - SER - Monday to Friday
- 1 in-person Podcast - Space Monkeys - Sunday
- Running list of guests this funding period.
- 2 Governance Livestreams - AAG - Monday & Thursday
- 1 Fellowship Livestream - OpenDev - 3rd Tuesday of every month
These pieces are further chopped & distributed as 20+ vertical clips per week
The Kus also provides or enables special coverage (often) outside deliverables uniquely valuable to DOT holders under the same funding.

The best. No one works harder. I only wish there were more Polkadot-only personalities like Jay working as hard and consistently, just one Jay seems too thin for the amount of activity in the ecosystem.
I really don't know how Jay and his team manage to consistently keep putting out such great content whilst also covering the latest news from the Polkadot ecosystem. Their magic and hard work deserve our support. At Key Pictures, we're excited for this collaboration and look forward to working with them to put out the spin off long form interview series - Web3Thinkers/Builders - developed out of the material from the Behind the Code series. All material released as part of this series will be available for use under CC-BY-NC so we hope that in time these interviews will be a useful resource for the whole community to use - we look forward to releasing them on The Kusamarian very soon.
