#### **Short description:**

The Improved Version of AmharicChain Polkadot Academy app aims to build and provide comprehensive and accessible educational resources in the local language for Android, focusing on Polkadot and blockchain technologies. It targets users in **Ethiopia** and **East Africa**, fostering a deeper understanding and contribution to the Polkadot ecosystem


#### **Problem**:

 Despite the significant growth in the number of interested individuals and the maturity of the Ethiopian, Polkadot needs more representation in all aspects. Even though the project has a robust technological foundation and a high degree of innovation, it needs recognition compared to its direct competitors such as Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, and Cardano.

#### **Proposal**:

Recent studies show that only[ 14 % of the Ethiopian population can communicate and understand English well](https://www.ethiopia-insight.com/2020/10/12/time-to-make-english-a-working-language-of-ethiopias-federal-government/). This leaves us with the majority of the population missing out on opportunities, so Introduce a comprehensive E-learning platform aimed at providing accessible and engaging blockchain education to East African communities, particularly focusing on Ethiopia.

This native platform AmharicChain Polkadot hub aims to provide structured lessons, interactive exercises, and localized supports and more in native language, catering to the educational needs of users interested in blockchain technology.

#### **Existing Solution:**
While numerous platforms offer educational resources in various languages, predominantly English, there's a noticeable absence of projects or proposals catering to Polkadot and blockchain education in East Africa Amharic and other African languages. Currently, such resources are lacking, hindering the accessibility of blockchain knowledge and contribution in native contexts. This aims to fill this gap by empowering individuals and fostering a deeper understanding of blockchain within Ethiopia and eventually across Africa for the growth of Polkadot ecosystem and Community.

AmharicChain  will not just impart knowledge; but it will also track progress effectively. Through assessments, user feedback mechanisms, and measurable skill development features
