Our goal for Telenova is to build and maintain an easy, clean, high-quality, open-source wallet for new users (nocoiners/web2) to expand the Polkadot user base and fill the gap in the ecosystem.
This proposal covers the retroactive funding for the research and development of Telenova as a cross-platform application for the Polkadot ecosystem.
The project contained a Research phase of 2 months to dive into the details of how to develop and publish a self-custodial wallet like Telenova as a TApp, as well as testing capabilities and limitations of Telegram as an application platform.
The next 4 months — Development phase — this time has been dedicated to developing, verifying, setting up CI/CD, and the release of Telenova as a product that anyone from the 800M+ monthly active Telegram users can access today.
