Short description:
This proposal aims to cover the costs of Polkadot participation at the Coindesk Consensus conference from May 29-31st in Austin Texas. The activities encompass a Block 3 sponsorship package with a pavilion-style expo booth (22 x 40ft) showcasing ecosystem teams, a Mainstage Speaking session and branding on conference materials. These efforts for Polkadot are spearheaded by the Distractive team. This proposal also includes the presence of Conor Daly (Polkadot-sponsored Indy500 racer) and his racecar/show car for photo ops and other PR initiatives, as well as marketing support of an official consensus party “bash” hosted by Polkadot (pending proposal approval).

*NOTE: All Distractive team’s salaries for planning, organization, designs, booth staffing and logistics are covered by the Decentralized Futures grant. This proposal focuses solely on sponsorship activation, production, and marketing expenses. Unutilized funds will be allocated to future sponsorships (EthCC, Messari Mainnet or Token 2049 Singapore). A transparent and comprehensive report detailing expenditures and outcomes will be provided after the event.
Thanks to the Distractive team for putting together this proposal. This marks the third year that the OAK Network team will be participating in Consensus alongside Polkadot. The booth design for Polkadot at Consensus last year was notably creative and engaging, and captured significant attention in the conference hall. I am eagerly anticipating this year's booth design and look forward to meeting other protocol & app teams in the ecosystem!
