- Global PR x Comms strategy x activation throughout the month of May
- Car unveiling ceremony press event
- Global social media strategy throughout the week leading into, during, and post race
- Marketing strategy x activation throughout the course of May (local + at-track)

- Staff salaries and accommodations
- Commercial licensing and marketing fees for league, team, and driver

- Monthly appearances at community based opportunities and events
Marketing Activation Buffer - $100k
TOTAL: $2.1M USD + tx fees
Community activation with Conor and Altheo Group could include
- Touch points with QR codes on the car, hauler, firesuit, and on social media (could be to a website, game, video - Esp 01 Behind the Code II, NFT, other)
- Diecast cars and have Conor sign them for giveaways for community members or other channel
- Host in market meet and greets on behalf of the community for any business development
- Link to form for Community ideas - Projects / Companies in the ecosystem interested in using this stage for ideas themed around Conor and/or the Indy 500 (racing themed games, NFTs, etc) that fans could engage with the Polkadot network and community.
Extra or Not Enough Funds (usd value) if proposal passes
- If $1.5 - $1.6M is raised - there will be no Truck or Nitro ride with minimal local market branding during the month of May. 3 Month PSA from Conor.
- If $1.6 - $1.7M is raised - Indy 500 Ride + elevated local market activation in May. No Nascar Truck or Nitro Rally Car. 3 Month PSA from Conor.
- If $1.7 - $1.8M is raised - Indy 500 Ride + Nitro Rally Car + elevated marketing throughout May. No NASCAR Truck Ride. 6 month PSA from Conor.
- If $1.8 - $1.9M is raised - Indy 500 Ride + Elevated Marketing Activation in May + NRC + Truck + 6 Month PSA with Conor
- If $1.9M+ is raised - We will make the activation work as proposed
- Anything over 5% of ask in USD would be donated to Type1 Diabetes via a Teddy DAO Fund OR returned to the treasury

Though this proposal was initiated by LearnPolkadot, I am indebted to him for getting me involved. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Conor and his team, and after watching the NBA All-Star game in Indianapolis last night, I believe these events--particularly the Indy 500 and the month long march of events leading up to the race itself--can be a great way to introduce the Polkadot ecosystem to the North American continent.
As a Senior Ambassador working in the United States, I can personally attest to how little people know about our network, its tech stack, and amazing community. It is my ardent hope that this proposal will get the consideration it's due, and encourage all DOT token holders to vote AYE. As the institutional interest in blockchain technology and web3 grows across the world, and considering the large multinationals that attend the Indy 500, this could be a compelling introduction to Polkadot, especially if Conor continues to finish in the top 10 and lead the race on a number of laps as he has in recent years.
But more than anything else, I hope he actually WINS the race, and the largest sporting event in the world will be seen by millions of people all over the globe as he chugs milk on the winner's stand while it courses down his custom Polkadot fire suit 🏆
