Why is this beneficial and a worthy investment for Polkadot?
- Development of an open-source DAO frontend—a public good available to the broader Polkadot community and serving as a model for future builds.
- Impact on $DOT valuation - thanks to Sónar’s brand affiliation, reputation, and a strategic marketing campaign.
- Exclusive Polkadot space and VIP event at Sónar Festival 2024, enabling ecosystem ambassadors to onboard new users onsite.
The Sónar+D DAO, built on Moonbeam, will initially distribute membership NFTs to Sónar+D ticket holders, festival attendees, and the wider Polkadot community. Initial exclusive incentives include an NFT collection designed by renowned Sónar artists and a giveaway for a chance to win tickets for Sónar 2025.
DAO governance will allow members to shape the festival experience, from proposing artists for the Sónar Complex stage, accessing exclusive events and meet & greets, to participating in crucial decisions, such as determining the winner of the Sónar+D open call. As well as a rewards program based on governance actions and contributions, it will also include ticket giveaways and perks exclusive to the DAO community.
In addition, the proposed budget includes provisions for covering operational and management costs for a mínimum of 3 years (2024, 2025, 2026), enhancing the project's capacity to deliver added value to the Polkadot community.

Team
Two decades of combined expertise in music, tech, and creative industries define GUZZU/Vitamin3's team. Recent highlights include organizing the Web3 Music Summit, an international onchain music summit with Primavera Sound, and the Web3 Foundation.
