Part 1 of 2 request for 1100 DOT deposit reimbursement
This is part one of a two-part request aimed at reimbursing a total of 1100 DOT in deposits.
The DOT is presently locked up across 3 Gov 1 Treasury proposals, all of which have been requested to be rejected:
https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/treasury/247 - 100 DOT locked
https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/treasury/248 - 500 DOT locked
https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/treasury/251 - 500 DOT locked
This small tipper track proposal aims to recover the 100 DOT locked in #247.
The other big tipper track proposal (see: https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/49 aims to recover the remaining 1000 DOT locked in #248 and #251
This reimbursement request was originally instantiated as a single Gov 1 tip request for the full 1100 DOT. That request has now been closed due to Open Gov superseding it: https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/tip/0x216473ffc7d04eda7028d3c40019bf177fde2f425ba9c2ce88b6d4f8df4135df
To be clear, this is us acting as advised by Parity in order to get our deposits returned from erroneous proposal submissions in Gov 1. This is not a request for new funds just a refund of our existing funds. Happy to answer any questions the community may have, thank you.

We should not be unlocking/unreserving Gov V1 funds via OpenGov. All Gov V1 funds are planned to be unlocked/unreserved next runtime upgrade with https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot/pull/7314. Let me know if there's a better way I can spread the word/answer questions about this, you can contact me on Element: @ liam:parity.io
