Treasury Proposal for Zeeve Wrench - an open-source Parachain Automation Framework

Problem Statement

Parachains are highly efficient and capable application-specific chains that sit under the Polkadot layer 0 with their own configurations, token economics, and flexibility. Creating your own Parachain has always been complex, requiring time and the desired expertise. The quality of effort and time given to set up a parachain is vital to the project’s success. The traditional approach to launching a Parachain requires a lot of consulting on different options, trying out different sets of configurations, and 8-12 weeks of setting up the desired networks and environments.

We have launched a one-click sandbox; try it!

Zeeve, being actions first, has already launched a one-click sandbox as a precursor to this proposed open-source initiative. We encourage the community to test further and share their feedback to strengthen the approach toward the open-source version. Click here to access the sandbox now

Proposed Open-Source One-Click Parachain Deployment Toolkit

This proposal aims to build an open-source, one-click parachain configurator and deployer tool for Rococo, Kusama, and Polkadot in multiple phases. This will help with a faster Parachain adoption as it breaks the entry barrier of complexity and cost to set up, monitor, scale, and manage the entire Parachain network. It further helps the enterprises as a sophisticated toolkit to easily create, manage, and reduce risks for their parachains with production-grade deployment and monitoring.

Setting up different environments and maintaining them with their desired expectations is a highly challenging task, and as mentioned above, it is also very important. Zeeve is proposing a very simple yet effective automation framework to:

  • Launch Parachain in a few clicks
  • Define and generate the Chain-spec on the go
  • Configure the Relay Chain as well as the Parachain options
  • Automated workflow for CoreTime purchase and planning
  • Setup security measures, define and deploy

I see you folks are from India. $2000/week is way overpriced, as $2000 is average monthly salary for devs with 2-5 years experience unless you are a FAANG company in India. I'm also a dev based out of India, so I can vouch for the average salary range here.

Folks building out of India, can build quality products with much cheaper rates compared to other countries as the cost of living here in India is quite low. We should be taking advantage of this disparity and get things done in more resource efficient way.
