PolkaWorld Ops and Maintenance proposal:2023.6 - 2023.8
Hi, community!
This is a follow-up proposal from PolkaWorld to seek to cover the next three months (June 2023 to August 2023) of ops and maintenance costs to further promote and support community education for the entailed Polkadot ecosystem.

- hosted 42 online broadcasts on Wechat Channel and 21,551 people joined us
- made 35 education videos, got 28,759 views on Wechat Channel and YouTube channel
- interview with 23 teams in the Polkadot ecosystem, all are posted on our YouTube channel
- hosted 14 online meetups, and 8,348 people joined us online

Maybe as a community we need to develop frameworks to calculate burn-ROI for such marketing and community activities.
Hey hey, thanks for your honest feedback!
Regarding the budget, if that's what you're referring to, we are not on the high side. if you've looked at all proposals related to community education or activity growth, you would realize that our figure is relatively reasonable, even on the lower end. However, it is crucial to remember that we are making contributions to long-term growth and community development, which are instrumental for the health and success of the ecosystem.
That being said, your point about creating a framework to calculate the burn-ROI for marketing and community activities is excellent. It is an aspect that we have been considering, and it would indeed help us, as a community, make better decisions and measure the effectiveness of our strategies. I hope that our monthly report can contribute to the creation of such a framework to some extent. You can find them in our proposals.
Once again, thank you for your suggestions and engagement. We look forward to working with you and the rest of the community to improve our approach continually.
I am https://www.jinse.com/ I haven't seen a few articles you reported on Poka, as well as some blockchain financial media in China. You guys just need to record a few videos on YouTube. Boca's reputation in China is almost ugly
Thank you for taking the time to thoroughly read our proposal and share your feedback!
If you are a core fan of Polkadot in Asia, you'd know that we started collaborating with one of the organizations behind Polkadot - the Web3 Foundation, in 2019 to establish the largest Polkadot Chinese community in Asia. We chose WeChat, the platform with the largest traffic in China, to build PolkaWorld, keeping the community updated on Polkadot's progress. Yes, we never distribute our content on Jianshu, because it's not the mainstream platform. However, PolkaWorld's articles can be found on mainstream Chinese blockchain media, such as Odaily and PANews. You can also check out Polkaworld's monthly reports in our proposal.
Or you can find out more about the data performance in our recent monthly roundup.
Or see other feedback in the Gov1 post.
Also, as you mentioned that we should post the video on Youtube, yes, we already did, please feel free to check our YouTube link here. Basically, we made an educational video each week to help the community learn about Polkadot and its ecosystem. And you can find other interesting videos. While we do use YouTube as a video distribution channel, it is not our primary platform! Again, please check all articles and videos on our WeChat account and WeChat Channel.
