### BULLET POINTS ABOUT THE SÓNAR+D DAO by Polkadot

1. **The proposal consists of accelerating a real use case of Web3 (a crypto economy) in the music industry to facilitate Blockchain’s mass adoption**. We want to build the Sónar +D DAO by Polkadot.

2. The **Sónar+D DAO serves as the platform for accelerating innovative projects at the intersection of technology, art, and music.** It facilitates the development of projects emerging from the community by acting as a mechanism for collaboration and support.

3. The Sónar +D DAO by Polkadot is a proposal by **GUZZU that has previously been involved with the Polkadot community organizing the Web3 Music Summit alongside the Web3 Foundation and Primavera Sound**. 

4. Sónar is a music festival with an international audience and a background of 30 editions. **Sónar +D serves as the innovation hub for Sónar pushing the boundaries of technology in the music industry** (exploring Blockchain, Metaverse, AI, VR/AR and more for many years).
 
5. The Sónar +D DAO has its antecedents in 2023. **Polkadot was the official Blockchain of Sónar’s 30th-anniversary edition**, and the DAO was presented in front of their audience. 

6. **Sónar +D DAO was presented in a 2-hour masterclass during Sónar 2023 with Ursula and Filippo Filippo Franchini both from Polkadot/Web3 Foundation**. The masterclass was attended by 100+ people and 30%+ signed up for being beta testers of the community.

Web3 Foundation and GUZZU co-organized together with the prestigious [Primavera Sound](https://www.primaverasound.com/en) festival the [Web3 Music Summit](https://www.primaverasound.com/es/primavera-pro/web3-music-summit-madrid) during Primavera Sound Madrid in 2023. The event brought together over 300 music industry professionals and featured engaging sessions, including keynotes, roundtable discussions, and workshops. Prominent figures from both the Polkadot community and the music industry participated, including representatives from Warner Music, Zora, Water & Music, Friend with Benefits, The Orchard (Sony Music), OpenSea, Foundation (NFT marketplace), Web3 Foundation, Colors Studios, Public Pressure, Wasserman, and more.
