Dear Polkadot Community,&nbsp;
I know what you're thinking, not another Marketing proposal!&nbsp; I used to feel the same way and still do about some of the marketing proposals.&nbsp;
But I also strongly believe that Polkadot needs more awareness with new crypto retail investors and users. Especially as we approach the next Bitcoin halving and mass attention will once again be on crypto. As an avid consumer of crypto content as well as a creator myself, I know all too well how little Dot is talked about on Crypto Youtube and Twitter.&nbsp;
Even worse, in today's episode of Crypto Banter, one of the most popular Crypto Youtube channels the host declared that Dot was a failed experiment. We obviously know that this is false, but perception unfortunately can become reality.&nbsp;
We have seen how support from the treasury has resulted in improved Dot content on other channels. The Kusamarian is a good example of a channel whose content has greatly improved since they received support. Support from this proposal would allow us the time and resources to produce some amazing Dot content that will connect with a lot of people as crypto regains its popularity.&nbsp;
My propsal is for a weekly video on our Youtube channel Cryptowise called "Connecting the Dots". Unlike most of the Dot content I've seen ours will lean towards being fun and accessible over getting too technical. The objective of the series will be to attract existing and next wave retail investors to the Dot ecosystem.&nbsp;
"Connecting The Dots" will be a panel discussion show where we invite 2-4 people within the Dot ecosystem to discuss the hot topics of Crypto. We will focus on the elements of Dot that are for consumers. Things that are built on Dot that consumers can use now (wallets, NFTs, Games, Identity, RWA, etc). But we will also have braoder discussions about the crypto space. It will truly be a Edutainment show, with as much emphasis on entertainment as education. We want to onbaord people to Dot. To do this we will keep things, simple, fun, accessible and really focus on what retail users of crypto want to talk about.&nbsp;
We launched Cryptowise in September of 2020 and from the very start of our channel we have always declared Polkadot as our favourite crypto ecosystem.&nbsp;

&nbsp;Our channel has come a long way since then. From our launch to the height of the last crypto bull run we gained over 30k subscribers and established ourselves as a mid teer crypto channel with a loyal following and reputation for insightful videos presented in a fun and entertaining style.&nbsp;

Throughout we never waivered from our support of the Kusama and Polakdot ecosystems. It was an ongoing joke on the channel that Dot was our crypto crush and we covered it more than any other ecosystem including long form interviews with many people associated with Dot projects.&nbsp;

We have always had a separate playlist for our Dot videos on our channel as we did so many of them and mentioned Dot and Dot projects a ridiculous amount of times in our others videos. No one can ever accuse us of not being OG Dot lovers. We have also put our money where our mouths are and have been early investors in many of the Dot Parachain projects.&nbsp;
This proposal is for a trial run of three months of weekly "Connecting The Dots" videos. Each video will be on our Youtube Channel and we will post a highlight video of each episode onto X. We will also promote the video posts through X.&nbsp;
We will begin the videos in January and produce one a week through the end of March. We hope by that time the show has taken off and we will have proven it's value for a longer engagement in the future.&nbsp;
We recognize that engagement in crypto content overall is relatively low at the moment but we have seen the beginnings of renewed excitment in crypto over the last couple of weeks and anticipate that this will continue in the new year.&nbsp;

Proposal:
3 Months of Content -12 weekly "Connecting The Dots" YT videos. -12 Highlight Videos posted on X. -X Promotion of videos.
Cost: 200 Dot/week times 12 weeks for a total of 2,400 Dot

Propose and approve a spend of treasury funds.

- `origin`: Must be `SpendOrigin` with the `Success` value being at least `amount`.
- `amount`: The amount to be transferred from the treasury to the `beneficiary`.
- `beneficiary`: The destination account for the transfer.

NOTE: For record-keeping purposes, the proposer is deemed to be equivalent to the
beneficiary.

Problem Statement:
- Polkadot needs more awareness with new crypto retail investors and users, as it is not talked about enough on platforms like Crypto Youtube and Twitter.

Significance:
- Perception can become reality, and the false claim that Polkadot is a failed experiment can harm its reputation.
- Support from the treasury has resulted in improved content on other channels, and this proposal aims to produce engaging content to attract more people to the Polkadot ecosystem.

Proposed Solution:
- Create a weekly video series called "Connecting the Dots" on the Youtube channel Cryptowise.
- The series will be a panel discussion show focusing on consumer elements of Polkadot and broader discussions about the crypto space, with an emphasis on entertainment and education.

Expected Outcomes:
- Increase awareness and engagement with Polkadot among retail investors and users.
- Establish Cryptowise as a go-to channel for Polkadot content.
- Prove the value of the series for potential longer engagement in the future.
- Cost: 2,400 Dot for 3 months of content production.
