Can you get ANY money from BTC/ETH/BNB/XRP/SOL/ADA? If no, why should polkadot holders pay for it? We need building, not advertisement.

Thank you for your comment! Our focus is more on education & understanding of the Polkadot ecosystem than on direct "advertising."
BTC & ETH are not a valid comparison. In our view, Polkadot is not directly competing with these giants but is carving out its own space.
The key to growth & adoption lies in education & understanding.
Polkadot is too complex to understand compared to EVM chains which people are already used to!
Users drive ecosystem adoption, If I ask random (non-polka) to name 3 parachains, they would not be able to. If you can't name something how can you even think about using them?
Users encourage project teams to come & build. This requires clear and easy-to-understand educational content to explain everything. As users become more knowledgeable and engaged, developers find a fertile ground for innovation.
Regarding XRP, SOL, and ADA. When it comes to XRP, maybe the court case was the "marketing". I would refrain from commenting in depth on SOL and ADA, but they have their unique ways of navigating the market.
