It is also true that we have created different pieces of content, such as great interviews, reports on special announcements (Blockspace, Polkadot 2.0, etc.) and tutorials.
However, this proposal seeks to fully develop the Podcast and give it the highest quality and the widest possible outreach"

Hi DOTCAST team, I'm Cris from Polkadot Insider.
First of all, thanks for your submission and I know you guys have been sticking around the ecosystem for awhile and really grateful to see that.
For the question part, there are 3 main questions:
Why we need 12 hours and 2 people for both research and script writing task? In our experience and quality comparison, I would suggest we can optimize it by someways but still remain the outcome.
"Buy visibility on Twitter and Youtube", are we talking about platforms promotion? Do you think it's worth for every video pushing out? In our experience, pushing promotion on these platforms will create potential "platform dependence" in the long run.
What would your target views with this proposal's milestone to get sponsor? Especially when we are talking about $800/video from treasury?

Hi Cris,
First of all, thank you very much for leaving a comment. Feedback is very important to us and by the way, I invite you to fill out the form designed especially for this proposal!
Polkadot insider has been very helpful to our Podcast on some occasions with the infographics contribution and you guys, were mentioned in several episodes for doing a great job in this aspect.
1-To answer your first question, let me tell you that in order to do a good quality job with an average length of 40 min. in each delivery, research and scripting is key. There are many projects within the ecosystem that fortunately interact with each other, with new partnerships and collaborations every week. To this we must add real-world use cases and the transformation we are currently seeing in the echo. So it's not just about talking and filling the space, we need to lay out the fundamentals and be able to demonstrate to the audience what new projects can bring and familiarize them.
On the comparison side, I think we are focused on different products and I would leave that to the user, anyway I appreciate the comment and it will be considered.
2- Buy visibility on YouTube and Twitter: As mentioned in the proposal, it is a matter of distributing a small amount of the budget on both platforms and analyzing the results. The goal is to gain followers on the platforms that have the highest consumption of this type of content. Do not forget that we do not discuss prices or financial speculation topics. Attempting to raise visibility when honest and true awareness competes with "getting rich" is not an easy task.
3- I don't think it is wise to throw a number as a target to attract Sponsors, however, we believe that the significant increase in followers and the improvement in the quality of the product may interest potential contributors to the project. I also do not consider it´s fair to take the $800 as a parameter to measure certain results, but to understand it as an integral project that continues to grow and generate pieces of content. I can also say that we are two enthusiasts who started from 0 in Polkadot and Kusama (not influencers). Backing this technology we believe in since our beginnings and that has an impact on our community. So, we are looking for support to be able to take the next step in a positive and healthy way.
Once again, thanks! and I encourage you to fill out the form, it will give us a better idea about your opinions in order to improve the proposal before going on-chain.
