Can you provide a complete, itemized list of all previous treasury disbursements received by Polkassembly since 2023? Include referendum numbers, dates, amounts in DOT/USDT/USDC, and what each was explicitly for (e.g., social contract phases, maintenance, retroactive work). The community needs the full picture of total funds already extracted before approving yet another "settlement."
@1HqjessfLBM8qvY1eXCt8UZ6jzRiJXwBVynRp3hJsoM1z86 Hey! All treasury interactions relating to Polkassembly are publicly recorded and fully traceable on‑chain. Since the launch of Kusama, our work, scope, and funding requests have been transparently documented through formal governance processes. This historical record remains available for verification through governance interfaces and chain data.
Polkassembly has operated as full‑time governance infrastructure serving the Polkadot ecosystem over multiple years. During that time, the team delivered platform development, analytics and transparency tooling, identity and delegation functionality, infrastructure upgrades, AI experimentation such as Klara, and other open‑source contributions. A portion of this work was carried out in response to community and ecosystem needs without corresponding compensation.
To be clear, this proposal is not framed as requesting payment for specific features or development milestones. It represents a reduced settlement request addressing unpaid obligations to contributors who provided sustained service to Polkadot OpenGov and the broader ecosystem, alongside the minimum steps required for an orderly operational close‑out.
We no longer need Polkassembly. Nova Wallet and SubWallet work much better for governance, and a community member has already set up an identity registrar that works perfectly.
Vote NAY.
@13oquSG39SmvSchczgPqQWMZf7yxdzaiynxp5ceNY8JrT1ym Thanks for sharing your perspective. Polkassembly has historically served a different role than wallets or registrars, focused on governance tooling and infrastructure developed for the ecosystem over several years. This proposal, however, isn’t about product positioning or future relevance.
It is intended as a reduced settlement request addressing unpaid obligations to contributors who worked in service of Polkadot OpenGov and worked to build all the features, products and tools(as listed in proposal) including work related to asset-hub migration on community's ask. The amount reflects a substantial discount relative to actual incurred costs and is focused solely on resolving those obligations as outlined in the proposal.
We hope this provides helpful clarification on the intent and scope of the request.
