Polkadot Legal Bounty
Summary:
We propose to establish a bounty for legal support of the Polkadot ecosystem to provide uncomplicated and effective assistance to new and existing teams around the globe. To make this as simple as possible for projects, the law firm of Amforc Co-Founder Gianni will serve as single point of contact (guaranteeing attorney-client privilege) and leverage a large international network of lawyers to obtain the best possible support, from choosing the right setup structure to helping with legal issues, such as contract and corporate law, IP law, data protection, regulatory issues and supervisory law as well as providing legal templates.
!Note!:
The requested amount is set up as a bounty where costs are all paid retroactively. Full transparency with a detailed breakdown of services at hourly levels, along with clear, predefined rates, ensures clarity and fairness in billing.

Q&A:
Q: Who is eligible to use the Legal Bounty
A: Services will be exclusively available to projects with a direct and strong connection to Polkadot. For this, we have identified the following categories:
- Protocol Builders: Projects building directly on Polkadot (such as parachains)
- Ecosystem Builders: Projects developing products within the ecosystem (such as dapps or wallets)
- Core: Direct supporters of the Polkadot protocol (such as the Fellowship, Parity, or the Web3 Foundation)
The number of hours per project is set gradually, usually in steps of 8-16 hours packages. The number of hours is at the discretion of the bounty and its curators, and typically capped at 96 hours. The number of hours for small projects can be significantly lower than this to prevent someone from vampiring the bounty.
Edit:
The Legal Bounty is fully live now - if you need legal services and think you're eligible, please join the Discord here: https://discord.gg/sYw7WkZVzV and follow the onboarding process. Note that this Discord server is only for specific legal requests and not for general chatting.

Interesting initiative, it would also be an excellent bridge between any initiative requiring legal advice and any contracts to be submitted to the PCF.
shut up and take my money!
