GM Polkadot Gov! Following our activities in the Mexico region, the collective—made up of Erick, Armando, César, Amaury, Rodrigo, and Javier—has been working proactively with well-defined goals: to expand Polkadot’s presence across Web3 communities in Mexico and attract new users, from developers and marketing professionals to tech enthusiasts. We focus on high-quality events with moderate costs to maximize the impact of our efforts.

In 2024, we participated in various Web3 and tech entrepreneurship events, leveraging our members’ diverse academic backgrounds to reach specialized audiences and build a strong Polkadot community in Mexico. These events allowed us to connect with a broad, receptive audience aligned with Polkadot’s vision of innovation and decentralization.

Considering the positive results so far, we are presenting this request to Polkadot governance to showcase our work and request a $12,000 USD TIP. This amount is essential for maintaining team motivation and sustaining community growth.

— It’s important to note that the requested amount will be divided among the six collective members, a very modest sum per person for all the work done. We are committed to continuing our collaborative efforts to grow the community and support the ecosystem.
