Educational content maintenance proposal by Cryptonitas.
Short description: Funding for the production of 89 pieces of educational content and an average of 2 hours a day user support of Cryptonitas for the next year.
In the last proposal, the proposed objectives were successfully met as can be seen below.
- KPI 1. Truthful and high-quality tutorial videos not made so far in Spanish: Link to the video report.
- KPI 2. Support to users through social networks and, if the situation requires it, video calls: Link to the answers document of the support form.
- KPI 3. More than 100,000 additional staked DOT. 847 members and 150k DOT at the moment of the submission of the proposal: Link to the pool #61. More than 500k staked DOT and more than 2,000 members at this moment.
The Cryptonitas channel is not a commercial channel based on speculation and prices, but rather a channel focused on support and education. For Cryptonitas, the main objective is for users to learn and use the network.
For this reason, we consider that our metrics should not be the same as those of a speculative content proposal, which focus mainly on measuring the views achieved.
We consider that a video with 500 views, of which 400 have used the network, is more successful than a video with 5,000 views of which not even 200 have used the network.
But it is usually really difficult to know how many users the videos you produce are useful for. Well, for example, when you make a video on how to create an on-chain identity, it doesn't mean that all the on-chain identities created since that date have been created thanks to your video. And the fact that this video has 10,000 views is not an indicator of whether any of them have created an identity.
So, how can we prove that the users who watch the channel's content actually use the network?
To do this, we came up with the idea of creating pool #61, a way to demonstrate how many users and how much DOT are moving on-chain thanks to the content created by Cryptonitas.
For this proposal the objectives to be achieved are:
- KPI 1. Truthful and high-quality tutorial videos not made so far in Spanish, maintaining the channel metrics.
- KPI 2. Support to users through social networks and, if the situation requires it, video calls.
- KPI 3. More than 200,000 additional staked DOT in pool #61.

I have known Cryptonitas for a long time, and I believe his work has great value for the Spanish community. I have learned a lot from his tutorials and interviews. I only have good things to say about his work! Good luck with your proposal!
@Albert thanks for your words, they are a big motivation!
Why not go via Spanish bounty?
@Just_Luuuu
Hi. Here is one of the creators and former curators of the Spanish bounty. The quick answer is that the Spanish bounty does not cover funding proposals, only tips. The Spanish bounty was created with the aim of giving small tips to creators who were starting to create content about Polkadot. Once these creators did a recurring job and made the leap to professionalize it (increase in staff, commitment and a long-term strategy), it was expected that they would go directly to the treasury with a proposal. Because in this way they would arrive with a reputation, with a background, proving that they are capable of doing what they propose. No serious channel can be sustained over time based on tips and a solid strategy is needed for a long time. This was determined by a question we asked ourselves: if a creator has shown that he is capable of doing the job and you just have to do a superficial check, since the KPIs are marked, why involve more intermediaries and, therefore, use more funds than necessary?
