Hello Everyone,
I previously applied for a tip on the Polkadot treasury for 6 retroactive episodes at $333 per video (Referendum #1128) for AwesomeDot team. After discussions with the community and DV delegates, we recognized the need to adjust our cost structure and overall approach to be more efficient. This proposal reflects those adjustments.
Problem Statement and Solution
In Polkadot ecosystem there are 100s of tools and libraries that are fragmented through our ecosystem, through our AwesomeDot repo we have created a repo and added every project of our ecosystem. Going through all of these we find out that we still lack development tutorials so the team of Awesomedot started the podcast series.
These podcasts are dedicated to exploring the technical aspects of the Polkadot ecosystem, providing visibility to lesser-known projects, and offering the community a platform to understand complex concepts directly from the creators and developers in the ecosystem.
In addition to discussing widely recognized topics, our project is dedicated to giving visibility to lesser-known yet promising projects within the Polkadot ecosystem, such as Paraspell, RegionX and DeDot.

When I look at the viewing stats for the oldest videos, unfortunately hardly anyone watches them. There is no demand.
Hi @Pieky, agree with your sentiment , but the channel is still early and things are just starting to take off, and mostly on the newer videos. If you look at the Analytics you’ll see we start getting some momentum last month, but couldn’t capitalise on it because of funding issues. We are also going to get into more marketing and social media and start experimenting with ads with these funds. Hopefully this gives you some insight into how we are planning to utilise these funds and focus on growing the ecosystem
Fardeen and his team are doing amazing work for the ecosystem. Their GitHub repository has already received 100 stars, and it was just started by a community member. I learned about Paraspell through this podcast, and Dusan's work with XCM is truly impressive. You should definitely listen to that episode.
The team discusses an incredible library that has been in the ecosystem for the last few years but hasn’t received much visibility. This is their first proposal, and their ask is minimal considering the years of hard work they've contributed to the ecosystem. I wholeheartedly support this reward and look forward to more amazing podcasts in the future."
