Marketing through my football club by shirt sponsoring
Dear council / treasury,
As a businessman and very active member in our polkadot community, i would like to combine my work and my passion by sponsoring my local football club youth (age 12-18) through shirt sponsoring.
I think it would be awesome exposure wise, for me and polkadot/Kusama, for these young people to be running around on the football field with, "expect chaos" on their shirts combined with polkadot / Kusama logo.
My regional population is about 400 thousand people and crypto has not arrived yet into the minds here.
My question to you is: could i ask for support by treasury tip along side my own investment? Or should i go about this another way in search of support, like a grant or bounty or just reach out to WEB3.
I would ask for a 50% support on the cost and i would put in the other 50% personally through my business.
I think the exposure and all possibillities through this would be a unique initiative and would help our eco-system get out there into the unknown. (South West of the Netherlands)
Thank you upfront for guiding me in this process and ofcourse i will present a full cost picture of this sponsoring.
Today i am having a meeting with the sponsor committee of my footballclub.
greetings ,
Mark Crince
MCService and Polkadot ambassador

This sounds like a very cool marketing idea to me.
"Expect chaos" is pretty much a given when dealing with teenagers: add Kusama into the mix and you get "Chaos, unlimited". :)
People have been asking/begging for Polkadot/Kusama merchandise recently, and it has been said that this would eventually come. So, it might be the case that you have to wait and later strike a deal directly with the person-in-charge when the merch page is up and running?
It would be great to have a single person (a Head Ambassador?) looking after all these community matters, as Polkadot Councillors might struggle with dealing with on-chain, off-chain and offline matters all at once.
Tnx, anaelleltd, i hope our council finds time to feel the same
