JAMTON is a cross-chain layer designed to connect the TON (The Open Network) ecosystem, with its 950 million Telegram users, to the Polkadot ecosystem. As a Polkadot parachain, JAMTON will facilitate seamless cross-chain communication, liquidity flow, and user interaction between the two ecosystems, enabling Polkadot-based projects to tap into the vast TON user base and liquidity.
JAMTON will act as a gateway, allowing TON projects and Telegram users to seamlessly engage with Polkadot's powerful infrastructure and decentralized applications. This will result in massive user growth, increased liquidity, and enhanced interoperability for Polkadot-based projects, opening the door to millions of new users and a steady influx of liquidity from the TON ecosystem.

- Simplified entry for TON users and liquidity into the Polkadot ecosystem.
- Telegram Mini App for smooth interaction with JAMTON protocol and dApps.

Funding Request
We are seeking a treasury allocation of 251,660 USDC on Polkadot Asset Hub to fund the development of JAMTON, a game-changing cross-chain solution that bridges the Polkadot and TON ecosystems.
This amount will cover:
- Development and deployment of JAMTON’s toolkit and infrastructure.
- Marketing and outreach to bring more users and developers into the Polkadot ecosystem.
- Ongoing support and maintenance.

Interesting proposal. Could the funding request ( and future requests) be in stable coins (USDT or USDC) instead of DOT?
Most people in Polkadot will likely support this, so I'll try to provide an opposing point of view.
950M users is a highly unrealistic number. There's no way we'll even reach 5M users from Telegram in the next 5 years. It's like claiming that an email abstraction tool will onboard 4.5B users.Treat it like a business. If the person building this truly believes it's a great idea and that there will be a high volume of transactions, they should be able to make a lot of money by providing the service. For easier onboarding, I can see the treasury covering gas fees, but not development costs.We've seen hundreds of chains appear and disappear, so let's avoid making any commitments here.There are already some solutions emerging in Polkadot, such as linking Telegram accounts to wallets, email-to-wallet solutions, and more.Personally, I don't see anyone using this or any need for it. I'd love to hear how people envision using this in the comments.
