Short description:

This proposal aims to cover the costs of Polkadot's participation at the TOKEN2049 event in Singapore on 18-19 September. TOKEN2049 is a global conference series, where the crypto ecosystem's decision-makers connect to exchange ideas, network, and shape the industry. This event is the pre-eminent meeting place for entrepreneurs, institutions, industry insiders, investors, builders, and those with a strong interest in the crypto and blockchain industry. Activities encompass a Platinum Sponsor package with a 36sqm customizable premier exhibition space showcasing ecosystem teams, A branded taxi entrance glass door and branding on conference materials. These efforts for Polkadot are spearheaded by the Distractive team.

As we're well aware of the current climate around marketing and event spending, we are providing a pole as well as asking for feedback ASAP. We (Distractive) for EthDenver and Consensus had been willing to sign and front large amounts of money based on no reason to expect those to fail in OpenGov, however, based on current sentiment we're a bit hesitant to sign any contracts without a positive indication from the community.

We believe it would be a miss to not have a presence for Polkadot at Token and want to do this for the community so please weigh in ASAP.
