Linking Polkadot-ecosystem wallets to Apple Pay
2 years ago
Following pressure from the European Union, Apple is being forced to offer iPhone-NFC-Payments to 3rd Party wallets.
Isn't this a massive opportunity for polkadot-wallet-builders to establish payment relations with Apple?

Not quite sure how that would work though since Apple Pay is for real world payments and not crypto based.
@CryptoPokoshi I think that saying crypto stable coins are not real money is a bit of an insult to the whole industry. USDT and USDC support within polkadot was a super important achievement — but these stablecoins also need to be made useful in the Web2 world outside our polkadot ecosystem (for the next few years while Web2 integration remains essential)
Some point soon, stablecoins will be fully integrated into the fiat-currency world. Are we going to wait for Solana (or some other vastly-inferior protocol) to do this before us, or are we going to be proactive?
The biggest gap I see with Polkadot community is the lack of a Bizz-Dev team that focuses on E2E user experiences across the polkadot ecosystem and also bridging it with the web2 world like Visa/Mastercard for Payment Processing.
I've already remarked that earning staking rewards is great but how do people spend this revenue? do they use CEXs or do they bridge to HYFI (Visa/Mastercard/ApplePay/GooglePay) solutions? Who is even looking at this in the community?
