Dotrewards Proposal : Empowering Polkadot's Builders, One Bounty at a Time
Hi everyone, I am Ravi Kumar. I have been a part of the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem for over 2 years and have contributed to the community in various ways. I am also the creator of projects like Dotfordummies and NewtoDot
Today, I am excited to introduce the proposal for Dotrewards, a collaborative platform that enables makers in the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem to receive compensation for their contributions across various technology domains. Our platform will enable software engineers, designers, and writers to get paid to work on projects in a wide variety of technologies through a bounty system. The funding and awarding of bounties will happen using smart contracts, which ensures we follow a decentralized and transparent approach toward bounties.
Our proposal aims to develop a fully functional Dotrewards platform guided by the principles of decentralized and open software, with the smart contracts being freely available to the public. With this proposal, we seek to bring together a community of donors and makers interested in creating a more decentralized and open internet to build together.
We are still in the early stages of development, and we would love to hear your feedback and suggestions on our proposal. Please feel free to share your thoughts with us on how we can make Dotrewards the best platform possible for the Dotsama community.

Great to see this proposal. The Web2.0 version is also awesome. As we increase our parachains in the ecosystem we need a platform where the team can outsource their work. I am fully confident that Dotrewards will achieve this.
Why there is a backend? I will also don't want to see much frontend work in M1. M1 should be used for research and PoC. To validate the idea and demonstrate the technical ability. A mockup and a MVP frontend will be enough.
