Polkassembly - Talisman Proposal: Beautiful, Intuitive and User-Friendly Statemint DEX UI #1615

Talisman (talisman.xyz) is a community-owned wallet and web application that enables users to “traverse the Paraverse” with ease. We believe in a future where everyone has freedom via true agency over their intentions and finances, and we believe that DotSama will bring this to fruition.

Today, because of its early stage of development and complex multi-chain architecture, both Polkadot and Kusama are changing rapidly and the user experience (UX) can be confusing for end users. It’s our goal to solve that using design, storytelling, and engineering. We abstract away the complexity of underlying implementation and provide a friendly user experience when using DotSama and a way to discover new applications and services available to end users, while keeping them safe and educated about the actions they are taking.

After speaking with Joe Petrowski and in anticipation of the Statemint roadmap on the Polkadot Forum, Talisman would like to propose a beautiful, intuitive and user-friendly frontend for the Statemint DEX.

This DEX will be usable from any Polkadot ecosystem wallet supported by the open source Talisman web app, including: Polkadot.js (500,000+ users), Talisman (20,000+ users), SubWallet (20,000+ users), and Enkrypt (20,000+ users), with mobile wallet support on the roadmap.

The Statemint DEX is a critically important addition to Polkadot to both bring liquidity into the ecosystem and to enable liquidity to flow between parachains. We will apply Talisman’s UX and design philosophy to create an easy to use experience for users to acquire, exchange and utilize their assets, hosted within Talisman’s web application at https://app.talisman.xyz.

i have been using Talisman for a while now and the experience has been nothing but absolute joy. it may sound like a cliche already but polkadot.js is extremely user-UNfriendly, and that's what its all about here - Talisman team have proven they not only do the job like true professionals, they also listen to the community, and continue to improve the experience with each and every update. even from the EVMs side, i have managed to ditch Metamask completely, and trust me that i really dont see absolutely any reason why to go back. Talisman undoubtedly gives the best experience for all styles of "crypto players", be it traders, NFT collectors or any other. they have and will always have my undying 100% support.
