Proposal: ink! design audit by OpenZeppelin
Since 2015, OpenZeppelin has developed deep expertise and set industry standards for secure smart contract development.
This community proposal is for OpenZeppelin to review and audit the current design of the ink! smart contract language, together with Substrate’s smart contracts pallet, in order to recommend actions to be taken and improve the development experience and security of it.
Upon the conclusion of the engagement, OpenZeppelin will deliver a security assessment report.

Hello, this is Sota, founder of Astar Network. This is a great proposal and I would like to support it as much as I can. In the Polkadot ecosystem, everyone knows that Wasm smart contracts are the future, and ink! is more sophisticated than Solidity. The blocker now is the lack of ecosystem toolings and auditors. If OpenZeppelin, one of the most reputable teams in this industry can join us and audit ink! contracts and pallets, this is huge.
This is very much needed for the entire ecosystem to move forward to the next step and break the reliance on legacy systems like EVM/Solidity. I fully support OZ for auditing ink! and the contract pallet!
