We are going to represent Polkadot on WebSummit this year.
We want to get Treasury funding to partially covering of direct WebSummit costs.

We find it crucial to participate in conferences with key web2 players and 70,000+ attendees, as well as teams from the biggest tech companies, to promote the mass adoption of web3.

Web Summit is especially important because of its Web nature and we need to start working outside of web3 bubble for web3 to become simply Web. Just the mere presence of Polkadot at such a conference sends a strong signal to web3 and the web community.

The booth is in active development and almost done (the photo attached in the doc)
We want to attract more Parachains and projects to this initiative!

We believe that even in these strict timelines, we can worthy present Polkadot at the biggest Web conference and bring mass adoption.
