Substrate Training Course and Certification
Blockchain Training Alliance (BTA) has been providing Blockchain training and certification globally since 2017.
BTA is seeking to create a Substrate-specific course that will allow developers to learn how to effectively build on Polkadot. The partnership provides new developers from the Web2 space to learn Polkdadot technology and increase developer activity within the Polkadot ecosystem.
Course Overview:
In this course students will learn how the Polkadot platform works, from an understanding of the governance and treasury process to hands-on lab environments for writing code. Technologies covered in this course are Polkadotjs, Substrate, WASMI, libp2p and Rust and more. Whether students want to add to their blockchain skills for career prospects or want to learn how to build a blockchain solution that has ability to communicate with multiple blockchains into a single network, this course will be the ideal fit.
This Substrate-specific training course, 20 hours in length, which will be available at no cost on the BTA website for any interested students to enroll into.
Certification
An exam for certification will be available at the end of the training course. Getting certified will demonstrate students have the skills needed to build applications and solutions on Polkadot.

This is a very welcome initiative to bridge beginning web2 devs/coders into the ecosystem. I like the idea of having videos explaining/detailing the contents and talking through the materials. I find the current Substrate workshops and tutorials offered on Substrate.io to be limited because they are only available in written format and a the instructions are some times ineffective (i.e too many breaking changes due to constant updates). This can be off-putting for a lot of learners. If BTA can offer a tailored and multimedia course through this proposal, I think learning Substrate would become slightly more accessible and engaging for most. Thanks! :)
it's really interesting what you are planning about course topics.
