Mexican Polkadot Decoded Closing Party!! by Gear and Espacio Cripto
The event for Polkadot Decoded in Mexico is facing some challenges. It was announced that Mexico would host an official event for Decoded, today there are** more than 170 people registered to assist in the event**, and people are starting to ask why Mexico does not appear on the official Decoded Site (Examples in attached Doc). The Mexican community AT LEAST deserves a Polkadot Level closing party on June 30. This is a proposal to maintain Polkadot’s reputation in Mexico, and execute a 500 people party in one of the coolest venues in the city, with a cost per attendee of $86 USD ($43,045 USD total), one of the most efficient costs compared to other similar proposals like Korea’s kickoff party that has an average cost per attendee of $184 USD

We think hosting something in Mexico is a great idea, specially since there was some excitement around the opening for Decoded being held there originally. The venue looks great and the team organizing it is local and that should make this feasible on a shorter timeframe. Our only suggestion would be to include some kind of intro to Polkadot, or maybe re-stream a Keynote from Decoded or have someone remotely come in and give a quick presentation, rather than this just being an afterparty with no content. Props for the effort.
@RTTI-5220Consider it done. We can make the intro to Polkadot happen. Having someone remote come in and give a quick presentation would be great! We highly encourage to bring someone big (maybe a message from Gavin), community in Mexico is disappointed for being relegated from the hosting cities.
