#12514 Newbies to the ecosystem
Hello, I am just a person that invested in the ecosystem by locking money up in parachains in 2021 and sort of forgot about it. I am having trouble navigating back to claim my rewards and principle back. Is there a support area for newbies like me where I can maybe do something like a zoom call and have someone guide me through this? I hate publishing on a public forum because there are so many scammers so if you respond, please be one of the forum leaders or somebody that has a history of posting. I am highly suspicious of scammers on crypto forums.

Well I mentioned my overall situation in my first message. It would be crazy for me to post the details of my individual investments in a public Internet forum. That is kind of like dragging a steak through a shark infested ocean and hoping none of them are hungry. I recall that in the past there was a place that tech administrators took appointments and did calls as a community service. If that is no longer available, I would be happy to pay someone who is an administrator here by the hour for assistance over zoom. Of course, I will not share my keys or “change wallets” or fall victim to any of the many tactics online that scammers use, including impersonating administrators on the forum. Can anybody help me by pointing me in the right direction on this forum?
It would have been beneficial for everyone , especially for those in your situation , to discover the need/problem and its public resolution on the forum. There is absolutely no need to share personal information to explain the situation.
We would be happy if one of you could share a feedback experience, it would be very positive.
For example, it’s possible that you were a Ledger user, and indeed, this involves some small steps and understanding of the new system with the Ledger generic app.
Similarly, when it comes to unlocking your locked DOT, it’s useful for everyone to better understand how PolkadotJS works, etc.
I won’t go into all the details here, but the idea is simply to avoid unnecessary posts (at least in the current situation).
