Dear Polkadot Investors,

We are pleased to present our exciting project: the Polkadot Hub. This innovative bar and coworking space is designed to be the epicenter of the Polkadot community in Barcelona, and we are eager to share our vision with you.

Why Barcelona?

Barcelona is not only a vibrant and multicultural city renowned for its gastronomy and pleasant climate, but it is also a growing tech hub. With its thriving startup scene and entrepreneurial spirit, Barcelona offers the perfect environment for the "Polkadot Hub." Its strategic location in Europe makes it an ideal access point to attract talent and businesses from across the region. As you know, the major pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca is setting up its hub here for similar reasons. Additionally, being in Spain is advantageous as there will be incentives in the coming years for investment in solar energy, semiconductors, and startups, including those related to blockchain. The IMF predicts that Spain will be one of the fastest-growing economies in Europe for these reasons.

What is the Polkadot Hub?

The Polkadot Hub is an innovative concept of a bar and coworking space that fuses the world of cryptocurrencies, specifically Polkadot, with a collaborative and social work environment. Our goal is to create a meeting point for Polkadot enthusiasts, investors, entrepreneurs, and professionals, offering a unique experience that combines bar culture with business networking and collaboration opportunities.

The rise of cryptocurrencies, particularly Polkadot, has created a growing demand for spaces where the community can gather, exchange ideas, and collaborate on projects. The "Polkadot Hub" meets this need by providing a welcoming and stimulating environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and knowledge exchange.

The Polkadot Hub will stand out from other bars and coworking spaces by offering a unique experience centered on Polkadot. Our blend of entertainment, networking, and collaboration opportunities will appeal to both the local community and visitors.

What will Polkadot Hub offer?

The Polkadot Hub will provide a comprehensive experience that includes:

- Polkadot Themed Bar: A unique space where customers can enjoy drinks and food inspired by the world of Polkadot. From token-named beverages to themed dishes, the bar will be a gathering place for the crypto community.

- Coworking Space: Dedicated areas for collaborative work, meetings, and events related to Polkadot. We will offer access to shared desks, equipped conference rooms, and printing and scanning services.

- Events and Workshops: We will regularly organize events, talks, and workshops on Polkadot, blockchain, and related topics. These events will not only attract the local community but also offer learning and networking opportunities for our clients and investors. While Polkadot will be the main focus, we will also cover topics such as business, entrepreneurship, and blockchain to attract new users interested in entering the Polkadot world.

- Polkadot Stand: An area with qualified personnel to teach new users attracted by this space how to enter and use the Polkadot ecosystem.

- Benefits for Holders: Depending on the amount of Polkadot a person holds, they can access certain coworking spaces or meeting rooms at discounted rates or for free and receive discounts on all food and drinks.

Business Model

The "Polkadot Hub" will generate revenue through multiple sources:

- Sale of Drinks and Food: Customers will pay for the drinks and food they consume at the Polkadot-themed bar.

- Space Rentals: We will offer monthly memberships for access to the coworking space, as well as hourly rentals of meeting and event rooms. (There will be benefits for holders and exclusive areas for Polkadot owners.)

-Sponsorships and Collaborations: We will seek partnerships with projects and companies related to influencers, YouTube, businesses, and the digital world to sponsor events and workshops, promote products and services within our space, and give visibility to Polkadot in the same way.

Distribution of Profits

The profits obtained will be used to pay our staff:
- Cleaning
- Waiters
- Polkadot Promoters

They will also cover expenses such as materials, supplies, and providers. Additionally, we will invest in promotions with financial influencers to give talks or courses at the Polkadot Hub, attracting more people.

Another part of the profit will be used to buy Polkadot and gain staking earnings.

One of the ideas to be voted on will be to expand with more locations throughout Barcelona or even other parts of the country and the world. These expansions may include smaller "Polkadot Cafés," which will be smaller spaces for coffee, investment discussions, networking, and small talks.

The most important aspect we see is the transparency of this project. Financial statements and balances will be published on the website so the entire community can see how the business is being managed and make informed decisions.

Decision Making

All decisions regarding the Polkadot Hub will be made in the community. We will create a voting system so the community can participate in decisions such as the location, marketing campaigns, layout, and ambiance. All important decisions will be exposed to the community.

Marketing Strategy

We will use a variety of channels to promote the Polkadot Hub, including social media, content marketing, public relations, and launch events. Additionally, we will leverage the existing Polkadot community to generate interest and participation in our space. A percentage of the profits will be allocated for marketing campaigns on our social networks.

Financial Plan

The Polkadot Hub will require an initial investment for real estate acquisition, furniture, equipment, licenses, and marketing. 

We estimate that we need 150,000 Polkadots as a significant portion of this money will be used to pay taxes, as it will have to be converted to fiat to make purchases.

(In Spain, there is a high tax burden for withdrawing from the cryptocurrency world to fiat.)

Any More Surprises?

Yes, it doesn't end here. We will create a studio/set with a Polkadot ambiance within the Polkadot Hub to produce a podcast primarily discussing Polkadot, but also other cryptocurrencies and businesses. We will invite external guests, and Polkadot Hub users can attend live and interact. This way, we can attract people outside the ecosystem to become interested in Polkadot.

If that wasn't enough, here is another novelty. We will create a newsletter so anyone can subscribe to current news about Polkadot, cryptocurrencies, and businesses. This way, we promote and retain more users, helping to promote the Polkadot Hub and the ecosystem.

Management Team

My name is Marc, and I am an entrepreneur fascinated by Polkadot. My idea is to create the Polkadot Hub with my family, who are experts in the restaurant business, having been in the industry for over 40 years. I will be in charge of all operations and later managing the Polkadot Hub.

Inspiration

Además estar en España es una parte muy positiva ya que se va a incentivar en los próximos años la inversión en energía solar, semiconductores y startups como podrían ser las relacionadas con blockchain, el FMI prevé que España sea de las economías de Europa que más crezca por estos motivos.

No solo hablaremos de Polkadot, aunque será el foco principal, sino que también hablaremos de empresas, negocios, emprendimiento y blockchain, de esta manera atraeremos a nuevos usuarios interesados en emprender al mundo de Polkadot.

Modelo de Negocio
El "Polkadot Hub" generará ingresos a través de múltiples fuentes:

- Venta de Bebidas y Comidas:*Los clientes pagarán por las bebidas y comidas que consuman en el bar temático de Polkadot.

- Alquiler de Espacios: Ofreceremos membresías mensuales para el acceso al espacio de coworking, así como alquiler por horas de salas de reuniones y eventos. (Habrá beneficios para holders y zonas exclusivas para propietarios de Polkadot)

- Patrocinios y Colaboraciones: Buscaremos asociaciones con proyectos y empresas relacionadas con influencers, youtube, negocios y el mundo digital para patrocinar eventos y talleres, así como para promocionar productos y servicios dentro de nuestro espacio y dar visibilidad a Polkadot de la misma manera.

Distribución de los beneficios
De los beneficios obtenidos anteriormente servirán para pagar a nuestro personal:

Camareros
Divulgadores de Polkadot

También para pagar gastos como material, suministros y proveedores. Y para hacer promociones con influencers del mundo financiero que tengan visibilidad, para que vengan a hacer charlas o cursos en el Polkadot Hub y atraer a más gente. 

Otra parte del beneficio se utilizará para comprar Polkadot y poder tener ganancias de staking.

Una de las ideas que se someterán a votación será ampliar con más locales por toda Barcelona o incluso más partes del país y del mundo. Ya no Polkadots Hubs que requiere de una infraestructura más grande y más inversión si no Polkadot café que serán locales más pequeños donde poder tomar un café y hablar de inversiones, hacer networking o pequeñas charlas.

Lo más importante que vemos nosotros es la transparencia de este proyecto, las cuentas de resultados y balances se publicarán en la página web para que toda la comunidad pueda acceder a cómo se está gestionando el negocio y que la comunidad pueda decidir al ver resultados qué decisiones financieras y no financieras se van a tomar.

Toma de decisiones
Todas nuestras decisiones de cómo será el Polkadot Hub queremos que se tomen en comunidad, por eso crearemos un sistema de votaciones para que toda la comunidad pueda participar en decisiones, como por ejemplo: que local utilizar, la zona, que campañas de marketing hacer, distribución del local, que ambientación usar… Todas las decisiones importantes serán expuestas a la comunidad.

Estrategia de Marketing
Utilizaremos una variedad de canales para promocionar el Polkadot Hub, incluyendo redes sociales, marketing de contenidos, relaciones públicas y eventos de lanzamiento. Además, aprovecharemos la comunidad de Polkadot existente para generar interés y participación en nuestro espacio. Incluiremos un % de los beneficios generados para hacer campañas de marketing en nuestras redes sociales.

Plan Financiero
El Polkadot Hub requerirá una inversión inicial para la adquisición de inmobiliaria, mobiliario, equipos, licencias y marketing. 

Calculamos que necesitamos 150.000 Polkadots ya que gran parte de este dinero tendrá que ir destinado a impuestos ya que tendrá que ser trasladado al mundo fiat para comprar todo.

(En España hay una alta carga impositiva para retirar del mundo de las criptomonedas al fiat),

¿Alguna sorpresa más?
Pues si, todo esto no acaba aquí, crearemos un estudio/plato con ambientación de Polkadot en el mismo Polkadot Hub para crear un podcast donde hablaremos principalmente de Polkadot pero además hablaremos de criptomonedas y negocios. Traeremos invitados externos y los usuarios de Polkadot Hub podrán acceder al público en directo e interactuar. De esta manera podremos atraer a gente fuera del ecosistema a que se interese por Polkadot.

Crearemos una newsletter para que cualquier persona pueda suscribirse sobre noticias de actualidad de Polkadot, criptomonedas y negocios. De esta manera promocionamos y fidelizamos a más usuarios, con tal de promover el Polkadot Hub y el ecosistema.
